This page covers how federations and clubs may use the Path2Membership software (the “Licensed Materials”). If you are a member rather than an administrator, the Terms of Use is the page you want.

1. What is granted

A limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Platform to run your federation, club, events and membership, for as long as your subscription is current.

2. What is not

You may not sublicense or resell access, copy or redistribute the software, or reverse-engineer, decompile or disassemble it.

3. Ownership, and your data

The software, its design and its documentation remain ours.

Your data does not. Your member records, grading history, documents and financial records belong to your federation. You can export them at any time while your subscription is current, and we will provide a full export on request if you leave.

4. Fees

License fees, where they apply, are set out in your agreement with us.

5. Third-party components

The Platform includes open-source components under their own licenses, which are honoured and, where those licenses require it, reproduced with the software.

6. Ending it

Either side may end the license in line with the subscription agreement. We may suspend a license for serious breach, and where we reasonably can we will say why and give you a chance to put it right. Ending a license does not entitle us to withhold your data.

7. Warranties and liability

The Licensed Materials are provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law we are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential or special damages. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
