Cookies are small files a website stores on your device. This page lists every one this site sets. It is a short list.

The three cookies

CookieWhat it doesHow long
Session cookie Keeps you signed in as you move between pages. Without it you would be signed out on every click. Until you close your browser
Trusted device Set only if you tick “trust this device” when using two-factor sign-in, so you are not asked for a code every time. 30 days, or until you sign out everywhere
Notice dismissal Remembers that you closed the notice at the bottom of the page, so it is not shown again. It contains the single character “1”. 1 year

What this site does not do

There is no advertising, no analytics, no tag manager, no tracking pixel and no profiling of any kind. Nothing follows you to other sites. Nothing is shared with data brokers.

All three cookies above are strictly necessary or set at your own request, so there is nothing to consent to and nothing to opt out of — which is why you are not asked to choose. If that ever changes, you will be asked properly and before anything is set.

Third parties

Card payment pages load Stripe, which sets its own cookies for fraud prevention. This happens only on pages where you are signed in and making a payment, never on public pages. Stripe's policy explains those.

Managing cookies

Your browser can show, delete and block cookies. Blocking the session cookie will stop you being able to sign in.
